I am in my bed, curled up with my daughter, typing with one hand and holding her with the other. It’s not incredibly comfortable but it definitely is cosy and peaceful. Today I am to write about something I feel strongly about and looking at this little one next to me I am trying to find the inspiration for this post. There are lots of things I feel strongly about and believe in but probably I won’t have the time to put them all down on the virtual paper here.
Probably one of the most important things I feel quite strongly about is dignity. I love people who know how to keep their dignity in this day and age when it all seems to be ran by compromise and social media appearances, when everyone demands respect but has no clue what that imply exactly. We forgot how to show respect to our elders and this says quite a lot about our dignity. People don’t know how to put accent on moral values anymore. I remember one day I was in a train and it was rush hour, therefore quite packed. I was so tired and my back was aching and all I wanted was to sit down and relax the entire journey home. Few stops later I notice this old lady, standing next to me. She was so humble and her face so kind. I stood up and offered my seat to her. She kindly smiled and thanked me. On the other side I notice a heavily pregnant woman and now we were offering her the seat, all three smiling. All this time, no other person stood up to offer their seat to any of the ladies or anyone else in need. I felt so disappointed and realised there is no respect anymore. We hide behind phones and tablets pretending not to see the ones in need and it is so sad.
Another thing I feel strongly about is MY FAMILY – I don’t get to see them often and we don’t all speak on daily basis. Heck, I speak with my uncle only few times a year but in spite of it all, I love them and if someone says or does something to hurt them, I quickly transform myself into a warrior. I call them loud and sometimes they annoy me so much but nobody has the right to say something bad of them because they will have to deal with me. I know I am there for them whenever they need me and I love to help as much as I can. Nobody can replace a family even if they try. I know nobody is perfect but we are the same blood and we defend each other through our entire lives.
GAY RIGHTS – this is another aspect of life that I feel strongly about. I have so many gay friends for so many years now and I never actually considered them different. They are people like you and me and they deserve to love and be loved just like anyone else. They are funny and sociable and so artsy and free. I have to say, I always admired their spirit and their determination in life.
LoveΒ is one of the most intense emotions that we experience as humans. It is a variety of different feelings, states and attitudes that range from interpersonal affection to pleasure.Β LoveΒ can be defined as an intense feeling of affection with no limits or conditions for a person.
So, you see, everyone is free to love everyone regardless of sex, race, religion or status.
And this takes me to yet another thing I feel strongly about and that is EQUALITY – we are all the same in front of God and we should all see each other as equal human beings. We all love the same, we all eat with two hands, we all smile just the same and we all dream just the same. No matter where you come from, no matter how much money you have or the color of your skin – we are humans and we should show each other respect, we should help each other and make this world a better place.
Thank you for stopping by and I will wait for you tomorrow with another post: SOMETHING I ALWAYS THINK “WHAT IF…” ABOUT -this will be a very interesting post
Your post spoke volumes, especially about dignity and equality. I believe tend to get away from it and forget that equality and dignity still and should exist. I like how you speak about your family. I can feel the love you have for them. And far as gay rights, yes they are people too. But, I think that there are people who forget that it’s okay to be how you want to be and love who you want. Thank you for sharing. β€

We tend to forget lots of things unfortunately. Life’s pace is so fast sometimes and daily stress gets in our way. I only hope we just stand still from time to time and remember the real values.
Thank you so much for reading my post

I love this post. Thank you for writing it. It makes me feel super inspired to think about things that make me feel this way, too.
I agree about everything, but mostly about the part about dignity. It’s been a lost concept for a while now, with Instagram lives and people making their lives seem like they’re something else. It’s sad, really. I’m glad you feel this way!

I love giving credit where credit is due. So many people give up on blogging due to lack of support when they’re overwhelmed. I try to support all my favorite bloggers as much as I can!
